Narrative

Domnall was heir to high-kingship of Ireland. He sent aid to Robert I, King of Scots against the English. He gained the title of King of Ulster in 1283. He abdicated as King of Ulster in 1286. He regained the title of King of Ulster in 1295. In 1316 he renounced his right to the Irish high-kingship in favor of Edward Bruce. He fought in the Battle of Dundalk in 1318, for Edward Bruce.
