Friedrich was crowned Holy Roman Emperor. He succeeded to the title of King Friedrich of Sicily in 1197. He succeeded to the title of King Friedrich II of the Romans in 1212. He succeeded to the title of Emperor Friedrich II of the Holy Roman Empire in 1220. He succeeded to the title of King Frederick of Jerusalem in 1225. He held the office of Regent of Jersualem between 1228 and 1243.
