Johann is listed on the 1850 US Census for Jefferson Co, KY, living with his parents.
There is a discrepancy in the records online about where Johann's marriage to Anna Sabina Suchsland took place. The record states St Paul's German Evangelical Church (Lutheran), but the marriage certificate itself has Paul scratched out and John inserted.
Per articles in the KY Historical Society publication Kentucky Ancestors written by Marguerite A. Miller:
"St John's German Evangelical Church was the second such church established in Lousville. St Paul's was established in 1836 and services were conducted in a carpenter shop until the congregation bought a Methodist church located on Green St (now Liberty) between 4th and 5th Streets in 1839. They outgrew that building and built a new church in 1841 at the corner of Green and Preston St. That location was rebuilt once in 1841, and the congregation moved into its current building at 213 E Broadway in 1906. The current St Paul's is on the National Historic Registry and was designed by Clark & Loomis.
St John's church was established in 1843 as the second German Evangelical (Lutheran) chuch in Louisville. In 1855, date of his marriage, it was located at Market & Clay St. This congregation later moved to land in what is now Iroquois Park."
Records from this era are maintained at St Paul's, which may explain the discrepancies.

The Quillmann Cemetery is located on Cardinal Hill Rd off Palatka Rd, Jefferson Co, KY. The cemetery is surrounded by property owned by the Louisville Water Co. The land was originally part of Johann Baltzaur's farm.
