Narrative

Thomas held the office of Sheriff of Inverness before 1392. He succeeded to the title of 2nd Erl of Moray circa February 1392. He fought in the Battle of Homildon Hill in 1402, where he was captured by the English. He held the office of Sheriff of Banff in 1405. In 1405 he was released by the English.
