Narrative

John gained the title of 2nd Lord Lorn circa 1448. John Stewart, 2nd Lord Lorn also went by the nick-name of 'Muireach' (or in English, 'the Leper'). Between 1449 and 1455 he sat in the Scottish Parliament as Lord Lorn. He died on 20 December 1463 at Dunstaffnage, Scotland, from wounds inflicted by Black Alan MacDougall.
