Winifred Seybourne paid her own passage from England in 1615. She married Robert Clarke after having been left a widow of then Governor Thomas Greene of Maryland. Her three sons by her first marriage were mentioned often in the legal dealings of Clarke, and he treated these step-sons and his step-daughters from his third marriage equally well.
