Narrative
William succeeded to the title of Earl of Sussex in 1177. He succeeded to the title of 2nd Earl of Arundel [E., c. 1138] on 27 June 1190. He held the office of Custos Rotulorum of Windsor Castle in 1191. He was one of the receivers for the money raised for the King's raised in 1194. He was buried at Wymondham Priory, Norfolk, England.
