From port records and ship records of the captain Thomas Bandinall, it appears that Adrian Gordy arrived in the Colonies aboard the Nicholas out of the Isle of Jersey, Channel Islands. Adrian was brought to America at age 14 and his indenture sold upon arrival 1670 in Northumberland Co, VA. His name on the records is listed as Adrian Gardee, and there is also a Peter Gardee listed, who may have been his brother.
