Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Bauer, Athens Rt. 2, were conducted recently at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bauer, widow of the late John Herman Bauer, died at the hospital after being in declining health for the past several months.

The deceased is survived by two half-sisters, Ida Bradford and Cora Powers; and four half-brothers, Herman Motes, John W. Motes, Robert L. Motes and Earl F. Motes; and a number of nieces and nephews.
